My husband teaches JROTC after 24 years in the Airforce, and is about to retire.
He made it his mission to teach the things the kids are no longer getting in the 'daycare' the school laughingly calls 'class'.

The system has pushed back on him the entire time - ground him down... it will be nice to have home time to recover and get mentally well again.
Fortunately, he sees what I see in the world today, and he has tried to prepare his kids for that reality.
