And supposedly, even if electronic files are deleted, they can be restored, to a degree.

Yes, however if they aren't tech-savvy, they may not succeed in destroying files.
Anyway, we have repeatedly been told,
"We have it all."
All good.
PS: I just remembered when I worked for a tech company. We had a server, which for us, was simply a computer with a lot of memory where all the employees' separate computer files were stored, that is backed up.
Of course, I don't know the capabilities or functions are of FBI servers.
Might be interesting to know more about it.
