I feel it's not actually about the money, but about making the money a non- issue. We will have more than enough money to take care of things so we can focus on taking care of each other, our families, communities and states. (IMHO 🙏)

I understand this point of view.

However, if your cash register assistant at the supermarket, is given enough money you buy their home, pay off all debts, and buy the luxury items they have always wanted... why would they go to work?

The same for all those doing menial tasks to pay the bills and put food on the table... belive me, I know what that is like, have been there.

Society would collapse, no food, no utilities (water/power), no maintenance.

Our society has been made into a machine, that relies on each cog doing its part.

This is why I believe banning all taxes, and, using the recovered money to pay off all national debt, would be a better way to begin with...

Then, as robotic workers are brought on line, the worlds workforce of slaves, can gradually be eased into the concept of work because it pleases you, not because it is a necessity.

But, that's just the take of someone who worked their way up the economic ladder...

I totally understand this. I believe the plan is that it will be tiered by age groups so that basically each tier (with the exception of senior citizens) will have to work in order to receive any funds. And, those funds will be doled out slowly on a monthly basis.
