I’m 56. My student loan. Nightmare started when I had to go back to school at 35 because the dot come boom and bust hit in 2001 and no jobs existed in Austin Texas. Then when I could get masters done the 2008 economic cliff made it where I couldnt start a clinic thus my student debt ballooned. I have had no credit score back until 2 years ago, it’s wrecked how husband, family looks at you and I had to go in another direction. I’m sure I’m not the only student loan story. Not trying to get out but my 35k debt ballooned over 250k as I sit paralyzed and couldn’t even purchase a house.
