We saw videos from the border early on about children being moved that did not even speak the languages of the people moving them (they only spoke an indigenous dialect). It would be good to look at how many of them ended up on the path of gender-affirming care. Imagine finding yourself in a new place and suddenly on that path without any voice and a new career planned out for you. I genuinely hope it is just my overthinking that possibility.
