What would happen if the vote had gone the other way and he hadn't been certified?
Are politicians allowed to go against the will of the people?

Its a lot of states with STUPID PEOPLE. The Certification is just the count of each electoral vote by state. There are 538 electoral votes and they are split up by each states population. high population higher electoral votes, for example California has 54 electoral votes and Massachusetts has 11. The certification is just the senators from each state giving the final vote in their state. Can they cheat? They did in 2020.
