Its worse than that. Women are considered as property that can be used as collateral or restitution for other's crimes.

The utter lack of logic in correctly ascertaining accountability is also intentional. They recognize that sex with a woman is a desirable act for a man and value it, yet completely fail to recognize the woman as being any part of the value. She is less than a goat to them because they wouldn't be angry at a goat for beguiling them with its beauty.

I hate to say this for fear of sounding prejudice, but I honestly think that they prefer same sex and the only value of a woman is for breeding.
Aside from that - the crimes against women are beyond heinous.
Television programs from twenty or so years ago used to depict those crimes. Example- Law and Order.
