I recently bought what I call my old lady air bag suit. It uses helium to inflate the air bags when triggered by a motion sensor. $300.00 to replace the cylinders after use.
My point is, these other chemicals being investigated to improve our lives seems logical for a better future on Earth, but not if they are going to be exponentially more expensive.
