BATTERIES & ELECTRIC VEHICLES ARE DESTROYING THE ENVIRONMENT!

500,000 gallons of water are used to mine 1 Ton of Lithium for electric car batteries.

Does that sound "Environmentally Friendly" to you?

What about the Oil Industry?

For every 1 Barrel of Oil produced by an Oil Well, that Oil Well produces 5 times that amount in water.

Water is produced, NOT consumed, producing oil.

Areas that have been mined for Lithium look like a barren wasteland due to soil degradation, disruption of the ecosystem, biodiversity loss & depletion & contamination of the soil.

Water depletion is a major issue because of lithium mining's excess use of water. In Chile, 4% of the nation's water supply is consumed by lithium mining.

Water contamination from lithium mining has caused poisoning of waterways including rivers and streams leading to deaths of fish and animals.

Before and after picture of a lithium mine (below).

Plus electric vehicles are worthless in cold climates. So you can only trust that EV for warm weather travel, but you cannot go very far before you have to recharge the EV. Then if there is a malfunction the car locks and people cannot get out. They also are heavy causing parking issues in large cities with parking garages. Not to mention they catch on fire in a collision. Lastly, the cars are filling up junk yards because people are ditching them, cannot afford to repair them and battery replacements cost around $30,000! 🙄
