The Tao that can be described by words,
is not the eternal and unchanging Tao;
A name that can be named
is not an eternal and unchangeable name

The nameless is the origin of heaven and earth.
The named one is the mother of all creation.

Therefore, he who remains without desire
It penetrates to the heart of this mystery;
who is filled with lust,
it only affects the outward appearance of things.

Both - although they have different names -
springs from the same origin.
Sameness - this is the depth of mystery.
The mystery of all mysteries,
The gate of all mystery.
