Messiah in the Pulpit
Luke 4:16 says, 'as was His custom, He (Messiah) entered the synagogue on the Sabbath.' It was His custom. There are bad customs and traditions, but there are also good ones. If Messiah had customs, and we're to live in imitation of His life, then we also have to have good, holy customs, and godly habits. Start developing good habits and customs, such as the habit of daily prayer, daily time in the Word, and the daily doing of good works. Practice the habit of saying no to temptation and to anything else that's questionable. Make it a habit and as a priority of yours to share the Gospel, of not compromising, and of applying the Word to your life every day.
