Now you tell me! Got a cold last Monday. Mostly stuffy and runny nose, all sinus stuff, no sore throat or coughing, thank God! The first morning my friend whose house I was staying at gave me some capsules with oregano oil and black seed oil. It really didn’t go away until I finally took one does of Musinex on Friday. Yesterday my nose was so congested I was mouth breathing. I finally had one big nose blow this morning and now I’m 💯and breathing normally. It was literally like that got the last of the crap. I’m pretty sceptical though about taking stuff like this or borax or other things I’ve known to be used as cleaning products. Except baking soda. Lol

We got pink eye after that so I put some on a tissue paper and. On my eye for a couple minutes and it helped too. I'll see how it is in the morning. It did burn a bit but felt better after.
I asked the pharmacist if there was any over-the-counter medication for it and they said no you have to get a prescription from the doctor so I held up the can of pure gum spirits and I said that's okay I'm going to try this first as it seems to work on everything else and sure enough it worked save myself trip to the hospital and no doctor bill 😊

Pure gum spirits is very useful. I keep it but be cautious with it and do the research

As a Naturopath, this is not something on my recommended list mostly because of the potential neurological complications....but I will suggest a few off the beaten path things that are very helpful.
1. salt pipe
2. neti pot
3. hydrogen peroxide on a q tip rubbed around rim of the ears.
4. also immediately helpful and available at most stores and Amazon is a 10.00 Boiron homeopathic remedy called Sinus Calm.

I'm so glad you chimed in and I agree with several different types of solutions I've done the neti pot for yours but disappointed with the pressure puts in the sinuses and into the ears which can be very painful if not done correctly.
I watched videos of a gentleman that experimented with different solutions that would kill parasites and viruses under microscope and some of them that you would think killed them off did not work. I would not suggest anybody use anything that I have not done myself. I try to stay as organic and natural as possible without any forms of pharmaceutical medicines as they have too many side effects I just want stuff that actually works with no side effects. I believe there are many alternative cures that treat the same symptoms but to each person they should do what works best for them.. knowledge is power and these gifts should be handed down from generation to generation and not forgotten. 😁👍

Be very careful. Know exactly which type of Turpentine you are using as they affect the body differently any where from skin and airways irritation to death. Personally I wouldn't inhale a known toxic substance for 5 minutes because I have a sinus infection but that's just me.

And yes you should always do a test on yourself perhaps on your arm or hand to see if it causes you to break out with a rash if not you should be okay. My wife is very sensitive to it but she can inhale it without it causing any problems

I agree but I have to admit when was getting my house ready to sale I treated my wood trim around my windows and the windows with stain but with turpentine. I was breathing it in and used my bare hands and cleaned my hands with the turpentine.
I survived the ordeal. It did clear my sinuses.

I had this and a number of others I know. I took ivermectin which usually knocks this sort of thing out in two days. It persisted for many weeks. I just don’t get sick. Will be prepared if it happens again. Thank you!

You're welcome I use ivermectin and fenbenzinol also but sometimes other things work better like pure gum spirits which also use topically and internally.

I've used pure gum spirits for years and always known about its medicinal properties. I've taken it internally and externally.

There has been a bad sinus virus going around that they call the 100-day cough or whooping cough. The whole family got it and I got it last.

Yesterday I felt like death walking, super tired couldn't focus, absolutely no energy with a cough that was just terrible.

I was so frustrated with feeling this way I decided to administer the pure gum spirits a different way by doing this treatment like I just showed in my post.

After inhaling it for about 5 minutes I went to bed. My sinuses cleared up almost immediately I was able to sleep well. I woke up at 4:00 a.m. and started getting a bunch of things done. Took off took care of some more things and came back home feeling 110%. Shortly after the kids woke up and I treated all of them. Same thing their sinuses cleared right up and they had so much energy it was like an instant relief.
