I've been a patient advocate 25 yrs; heard hundreds of personal testimonies-all about how health insurance, the medical profession and Big Harma hurt them.
So, are they responsible for hundreds of disabled and deaths?
We held rallies and protests against the crooks.
We lobbied our states and federal pols, to ask for help. Some pretended to care.
We spoke to reporters and some published favorable reports. Our letter writing campaigns targeted stupid reports, drs, scientists.
One advocate was jailed bec she cursed, showed anger.
Another was put in an insane asylum for her crime of telling truth.
We held events: social teas, walks, contests, elaborate galas, golf outings, scientific conferences with some of the best doctors and scientists giving lectures.
Doctors who were healing us were charged with treating too aggressively. Some lost their licenses.
My advocacy group began in 1976, before my involvement.
After yrs of incredibly hard work, devotion to our cause-now it's worse.
