The Bible is 1 million x's more accurate than tomorrow's headlines in any publication.
Jeremiah 5:21
“Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:”
Isaiah 46:9-13
9 Remember the former things, those of long ago;
I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
what I have planned, that I will do.
12 Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,
you who are now far from my righteousness.
13 I am bringing my righteousness near,
it is not far away;
and my salvation will not be delayed.
I will grant salvation to Zion,
my splendor to Israel.

Yes and No.
Today’s Bible does not give the full picture. We have access to only 66 books of the original 777.
The King James translation - one of the most common and popular - was written by a man (King James I) who first wrote “The Book of Demonology.” Speaks volumes about the man’s priorities I think - and his potential objectives in providing a Bible written in the then common tongue of England.
My point - God first, Jesus first, the written words of men who seek to manipulate and control us should be last and treated with skepticism.
Holding up a book that has been manipulated, truncated, abridged, altered and bastardized as a source of complete truth is counterproductive (my perspective only of course).
