👓Suburban Squirrels are now part of the budget, and it all started 3yrs ago w/Bill Bunny.
After watching him the squirrels caught my attention, and so peanuts in the shell were next.

Blue-Jays and Woodpeckers turns out love peanuts. Crows will eat most anything. Then, in an effort to slow the peanut run down, 'birdseed' was next.

Squirrels loved to be ‘imprinted’,
meaning to depend on human contact
in order to survive.
Keep the fingers tucked in
when feeding a squirrel.
Their vision and response
may think it is the food.
Peanuts and watermelon are favorites.

As a wildlife rehabber we are trained
not to imprint the orphaned animals,
to increase their chance of
survival, when returned
back in to their
Natural Habitat.

Urban Squirrel motto……❤️

🔷IMPRINT THE WORLD🔷

Was over a year before I saw one blink. Now in my 4th year they are part of me. When the birds came into focus I started to note the different ones I saw. Ha! Quit that quick, in my part of Ohio there are countless birds of all description, shape and size. Cardinals, Woodpeckers and Blue-Jays all peck alongside the squirrels in my make-shift feeder. .
