I said something similar in my dentist's office when they were beginning to continue to wear masks beyond the reasonable time period. That was back in 2021. I think it's a break on their insurance. I never wore one. Well, this office IS STILL wearing masks and wants the patient to walk in wearing one until they are sitting in the chair to be worked on. I was just there this month. Walked in without a mask. I know all these ladies who work there well since I have been a patient for 10 years. I was told to put one of theirs on. I said no, and asked why in the world are you all still wearing them. She said ask our boss, then said I'd have to wait in my car if I wouldn't put one on, which I promptly did. I think it made them nervous. At the end of my appointment, the asst offered me a mask to simply walk out to the desk to pay. I said I don't need it. The dentist snarkily said we like our patients to wear them. I didn't answer. He must be getting a reward of some kind.
