Feckin' hearbreaking what is happening to the Western world.

Here in UK, our government is trying to decimate our farmers too.

They are discussing introducing a new inheritance tax on farmers. That will devastate the smaller family farms who will either have to sell off completely in order to pay the inheritance tax, or sell off parts of their land to pay it, which is then less land to produce our food. Each successive death would result in more and more land having to be sold over the years until there was nothing left.

But there's hope on the horizon, as I'm sure lots of corporations can't wait to get their grubby hands on this land, for a fraction of the cost, for more corporate farming, or building houses, or solar panel farms.
