I lost my beloved husband 2 weeks ago today. Still haven't had a chance to deal with the grief and shock of that when Helene comes thru the following day trashing my vehicle. It's been fixed but the collision shop it's in is closed because no phone or power.
Then had to be evaced for Milton. We were originally in the cone but it moved off however the devastion still continued thru most of the SW side of the state. At the shelter we were constantly having to keep moving to the hallways because of the barrage of tornados, sooo many tornados! They lost power and still was without when we left this morning.
Finally home after being evaced for Milton. It was the WEIRDEST hurricane I have ever been thru...first time I have seen a cane come in from the west, first "dry" cane and so damn many tornados. Never seen a wedge tornado in FL!! Those you see in the midwest. These pics are from my area of just some of the tornado damages. Heartbroken for my state💔😭
