Hi Patriots,
After the storm in central Florida in my area: We have electric, but most people do not, but my home is on a hospital line so it is usually the last to go in a storm. My neighbor said they watched the storm and saw 4-5 transformers blow out one by one. Most people have no electric in downtown Orlando where some of my family lives, but they are relatively OK because they have a generator.
A daughter lives in Volusia and she stayed with me but went home today and her home is one of the few that is not flooded on her street. She called and cried when she saw she was OK because she thought she would be homeless from flooding, so God was good to her and her family.
Lots of homes in Daytona are flooded with 2 feet of water in their houses. A family member in a 55 and up neighborhood is flooded and everyone is trapped in their home, but no water in the house, so they will stay put until it drains.

Thanks for letting us know. There were so many prayers for this whole state.
Lots of clean-up here, but not as much as Helene.
Water is over the bulkhead but will recede with the tide.
I'm telling these storms, regardless of why they were created, they do not need to be destructive.
That goes for any future storms too!
I hope they listen.

We were spared as well.. Just a bunch of branches in the yard and some screens from the pool area down but no real damage. I heard the wind whipping things around outside all night.. we lost power for a short time and by morning it was back on.. it was hard to sleep but all in all thankful to have had a hot cup of coffee and the ac running when we woke up.. Praising God and praying for all the ones dealing with the horrible outcomes of these storms.. I think we're supposed to get another one too..
