Hurricane Milton is RADICALLY INTENSIFYING at a rate NEVER seen before.
Milton was a Category 3 earlier today, and is now a Category 5.
The highest Category on the scale.
It is now one of the 5 MOST powerful Hurricanes EVER recorded coming from the Gulf of Mexico.
219 MPH SUSTAINED wind gusts & 911mb of pressure.
Those are INSANE metrics.
It is abundantly clear that they are injecting SERIOUS amounts of energy into this storm with INTENTION. As you can see with these planes making bizarre flight patterns in and around the storm.
