Cruz just spoke to the press. Both sides were not expecting impeachment to lead to a call of witnesses, "likely won't bode well for them." Stated Biden, Schumer did not want to go down the road of impeachment. Schumer is dealing with shit show right now d/t what happened on the floor this morning. Republicans agreed, despite this potentially going on until March - better to spend time on this then allow the government (house/senate/biden) to continue to harm America by passing or introducing bills/laws. When asked bout outcome Cruz replied, "I don't know. It's pandemonium at this point."
