Hearing so many different stories. Don’t even know what to believe. I will say one thing especially about the mountain rescues; they could be holding off land rescues because of all the damage. Not knowing what’s dried up ground wise or is stable enough for people to get through both ways. So much land got moved and disrupted there’s probably a lot of unstable places you can’t just start moving through. More landslides could still be happening. Sounding like helicopters are best way for now.

And some places have dried up where it is easier to reach them! I say let the FL National Guard help save the people, they are worth saving! Decent Folks!

More rain yes, but they are holding the helicopters back, which doesn't make any sense because rural NC mountain people are hard to get to and they are running out of medication, oxygen, food, water, etc. And the National Guard is trained for this, so it makes no sense to hold back unless they want the people to die. Helicopters can reach those rural areas. And many would much rather die trying to save people than to sit idle. IMHO
