Haha You know, instead of all the hype about the novel 1984 being pushed a couple years back, they should have been pushing Animal Farm!
There's even a well done animated film of Animal Farm that may be more easily consumed by the millennials.

When I was in school, ALL of these books were required reading. Now many of them are banned.

Not surprised. When I started my undergrad the foreign students new more about the US government system then the American high school grads. They took civics and home economics out of the curriculum all together. The dumbing down program has been quite successful.
