And pretty sure that pic is from John's travels to South Africa in March of 1996 to meet with Nelson Mandela. Maurice Templesman (his mom's boyfriend) went with him. Maurice had a lot of business connections in South Africa. John had been at Mandela's inauguration there in 1994 also. And 1996 was the "year of his goatee." LOL. It didn't last that long, but I'll attach some other pics below to show you. Regarding the other man in your pic, I think it's just some random person who was around him when the photo was taken. It looks like it was a cropped pic. And definitely not DeSantis. LOL. (He was born in 1978...) I know Doq posted this pic and people are guessing. Some say it's John's cousin Anthony, but nope. Not him either. ;) Hope this helps!
