Sometime in 1997, I mused that I could go at least 20 years and not see another picture of these 2 people. Not because I didn’t like them, but because there were already so many pictures of them out there. I was content to wait 20 years to see how much they had changed. I believed that it would be more notable to contrast the present and the future. Later that year, Diana left the spotlight. Whether by death or by design. Then, 2 years later, the camera got its last look at JFK Jr.
I find it interesting that starting in 2017, 20 years after Diana, the possibility of seeing new photos of them came back center stage.
I’m not saying that my personal preference for not wanting to see their pictures was prophetic. I was/am tired of all the hype.
I’m tired of the fan fiction. At the end of the day. They are just 2 people who found themselves at the center of a flux in history. Their lives have no more or less value than anyone else who ever existed.

Would be nice to 'know; that they are both alive and well.
