The phrase first came to me from a book, where the author described his job as trafficking in the talent of others. If I recall, I think he was a talent scout of some type. More recently, I think about all the child prodigies and geniuses and wonder who might be behind them and whether there might be something devious going on.

Well I do know that the three letter agencies, some in particular, hire those with high MENSA and IQ tests. And also that some three letter agencies will hire from the LDS Church / Mormons. I suppose that could be considered to be Talent Trafficking.
