Religion is far different than relationship. God wants a relationship with us. He gave His son to fullfill the requirements of thelaw. We now live in a New Covenant (testament) of grace because of Jesus' sacrifice of Himself. Each person has a free will choice to make. To have a relationship with Jesus Christ or not. It is our choice. By choosing to trust and believe in Jesus we receive by His grace, the restoration of LIFE ( saved from death, salvation) by being made SPIRITUALLY alive. God's very Spirit indwells us. We cross over in that moment from death to life when we sincerely accept God's gift of grace! Only those who are SPIRITUALLY ALIVE are granted eternal life in the kingdom of God. Those who reject Him and His FREE gift of LIFE, are SPIRITUALLY DEAD and are then cast away and remembered no more. THEY made THEIR choice. God does not send them to hell, they made THEIR choice, so THEY send themselves to the place of the lost and forgotten. 😇
