Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was already evil in his heart but a ritual happened to him later that fulfilled prophecy.
At the Last Supper, Jesus informed his disciples that "one of you will betray me".
Then after so saying, he dipped a peice of unleaven bread in his wine and handed it to Judas. Scripture then reports that at once, Judas was indwelled by satan himself. It was then that the satan-possessed Judas ran out of the citadel to go squeal on Jesus's whereabouts to the Pharisees who then, as you know, showed up with Roman soldiers to arrest Jesus and thus was on the way to his perecution, trial, torture and ultimate cruel death on the cross.
Later, the Bible quotes Jesus as referring to Judas Iscariot as "the Son of Perdition"; and much later after that, in the book of Revelarion, does Jesus refer to "the Son of Perdition" again, as one of the End Time beasts.
Let all who have ears, hear.
