I have been screaming this from day one! As an RN I know it is a well know FACT that oxygen deprivation is harmful to all bodily functions, and has a detrimental affect on the immune system, especially in children who have limited oxygen reserves. Lower oxygen levels can cause detrimental impacts on the brain, especially in children. It can cause DEATH in very young children and infants. Never, ever should a child wear a mask, and never ever should a mask be placed on an infant! A mask is useless in preventing disease and interferes with the natural immune response. That is why [they] implemented mask wearing. It had nothing to do with protecting anyone's health.
