I still believe it is an insult and degrades our long-standing family status and contribution to the nation that a new citizen like this has the same voting power as me. Voting weight should be based on how long one’s family lines have been in the country.

I believe after 18years of work to become a citizen, that this man has earned the right to vote.
President Roosevelt stated, "That you have to learn to speak our language, learn our laws, learn our history to become a citizen". He isn't an illegal that just came across the border!

Immigrants appreciate the USA more than Americans born into it. Why? Because America was born to immigrants. It’s a honey pot of people from all over the world who said “fuck this shit” it may not be you but it was your great great grandma or grandpa. Americans don’t know the fight of their first ancestor who arrived. Stand the fuck up you come from people who said “FUCK THIS SHIT”.
