Thankful to hear that this has been banned in Switzerland. Sad to learn it even exists.

These are very different from the pods I knew of on the ships. They too are called suicide pods, but have a very different meaning and use.

They are used to contain the souls into a loving state to help them deal with the tragedy of their life they cut short. Sometimes the person/soul will be contained for a long period of time depending on the circumstances.

I first learned of these when reading the Mary Summer Rain books. This is mentioned in there. I forget which book specifically. It is a fact of data that has always been at the back of my mind, due to having family on my dad's side that committed suicide and growing up knowing some who have.

And yes I trust and resonate with pretty much all of what Mary Summer Rain mentioned in her books!
