I was born in the 80s, so much of the pop music of the era is what I listen to. 90s Eurodance stuff was important to get me over some of the hardest and darkest times in my early life. There's some irony in that Finland has a lot of heavy metal bands, and it took me a long time to appreciate it. Symphonic metal like Nightwish 💕 works well (thanks Tuomas!). Iron Maiden 💓 surprised me with harmonic overtones, quite like the style. A lot of the metal music in the 90s had a rough distorted sound which tended to make me angry, hence why I stood away from it.

Of bboying beats, you can kind of extrapolate from the type of tunes I've mentioned earlier. Soul funk style like Jackson Sisters. Yes, drum breaks are fun, but I'd like to hear a bit more. What comes to bboying itself, we'll see
