Highlighting how gullible and uneducated people can be??? The Papal slippers were made of red silk with only the sole being made of animal leather.

History of the Papal Shoes
Throughout Church history, we have seen Popes wear red shoes (Papal shoes). The papal shoes are made from red leather [Red Leather from Where?] and the Pontiff wears them outdoors. The shoes are not a fashion statement, rather they bear symbolism in the Pope`s ministry.

Correct that historically the Pope wore red leather shoes but contrary to the image shared - at no time ever were the shoes made of human skin. In contemporary times, the Pope has worn/wears Cordovan or Brown shoes.

Those who created that urban myth and those who continue to share it have been misinformed or chose to do the work of the devil. It's been debunked thousands of times.
