I remember when I was in college many years ago, I was in the ‘IT’ department in March.
I was told that the department had extra money they didn’t spend from their budget and they needed to spend more or next year the budget would be reduced.
SO…
I was handed a catalogue and told to mark items I would like as they needed to get them in ASAP.

SO…

I marked a bunch of cool things that I could use and the rest is history.

I wonder if the same applies now?
If you don’t use the money then you lose the money.

It could be the same way with these ‘bonuses’ that are being paid.

Perhaps a forensic audit of spending in January, February, and March would uncover this!
