"Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich arrived in Belarus with Putin on Thursday to meet for talks with his Belarusian counterpart and close ally Alexander Lukashenko on security and joint tactical nuclear weapons exercises. Yanukovych was ousted as President of Ukraine in the 2014 EuroMaidan coup, after he sought closer ties with Vladimir Putin, he now lives in Russia.
In November 2013 Yanukovych, then serving as Ukraine’s fourth president, refused to sign an Association Agreement with the European Union. He chose at that time to forge closer ties with Russia.
There have been reports that the Kremlin are planning to install the former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in a leadership role when Russia takes back Kiev.
Very dasting indeed."
