I got shingles once in 2007. It started as if I got bit by a bug. I was sitting at the lake watching my daughter on a hot summer day. Next thing I knew I broke out from my scalp all the way to my left eye. Come to find out they had an outbreak of shingles that year. Found this out through a friend who is connected thru the medical industry. I have never gotten a chicken pox shot either but did have chicken pox as a child. Weird, huh?
