My grandson joined the military...he'll go in shortly after he graduates high school. If he doesn't qualify for the position he really wants...he'll be going for combat medic. So that would mean front lines should he be called to it. Our daughter is freaking out. I'm proud of him...but at the same time...terrified for him. I know that God has him...and I know he has to live his own journey. I don't want him to go in with his mom freaking out on him for that choice. This IS so him though. He is a tough young dude...but has a heart to help people. As hard as it is to think about...I can totally see him choosing this. He wants to be a fireman/EMT when he gets out. So it totally fits him. Prayers appreciated to help his mom deal with his choice and support him and just love on him the rest of his time before he goes in. Blessings to all!

1999, I encouraged my 17 year old son to follow his love. He wanted to be a professional musician.
I was in the music industry,
I knew lots of hard work...
In much love, I sent him to Los Angeles and Epic Records signed him within a few months. God's Plan.
Now... after ALL these years
of him as a professional musician, studio, producer, engineer, multiple world tours He decided to make his home back where he started. He just arrived a few days ago.
Trust The Lord...
I Never Expected This.
It's Come Full Circle,
And Many Doors
Have Already Opened Because Father God Is Interested In His Children.
I try not to speculate, or speak with directives...
I try to encourage him with Scripture and Prayers with anticipation Father God Moves, Blesses His Children.
I realize your Grandson's adventure is Totally different, extremely different than my son's adventure.
It is the heartstrings we share with his mother, & letting them learn to fly.
