I will fight hard now to become
a voice for those who
could not speak their experience.
The violation doesn't
stop with the veteran….
the caregiver and spouse
are just as abused when
trying to help their loved one.

Back in the 1970’s during the
Nixon Administration,
he ordered cut backs in the
VA Healthcare System.
My sister when in to surgery for
a common female procedure,
while under
anesthesia, she vomited
then inhaled it
to suffocate and die.
The reality of the
Vietnam era veterans
just returning to deny their
chance at quality healthcare.
My job was in pharmacology
as an active duty soldier.
I had men still active,
polluted with Thorazine,
lip hanging down and
all the horrible side effects.
The Vietnam Soldiers were
given terrible meds.
Sad truth from someone
who knows.

I am so very sorry to hear about your sister. My heart is with you. I don't know that I will ever get over the way my Dad died, as you know what Agent Orange did to them, but it's been a long time, God has eased much of that pain. He was special to me even though he lived on one coast and me on the other. I saw him when I could and he kept in touch constantly. I pray that all Vets get what they deserve, with NO cost for anything they need. We owe them a lot. Everything they get, Dr care, housing, etc should be free in my opinion.
