This guy tried to kidnap a 15 year old girl this morning in Nashville after she got off at her school bus stop.
The man should have been in jail when this occurred but he was out on a tiny bond despite being charged with assault and false imprisonment earlier in the week for a separate attack.
During that attack he trapped a woman in an elevator and assaulted the woman. There was a sexual nature to that crime.
Metro Police Chief John Drake told

that:
“The safety of our community should be a real consideration in the setting of bonds and pre-trial release conditions. That should involve weighing the nature of offenses and the specific details alleged in arrest warrant affidavits. It’s no secret that our officers are dealing with the same people time and again.”
