I have read that some states are going to bypass the constitution and give the popular vote to the winner. They are trying to bypass the electorate and this move is unconstitutional.

The Buck thing caught my eye in March. Gov. Jared Polis, who is responsible for setting the date of the election, said he planned to hold it June 25, the same day as Colorado’s primary, “to minimize the cost to taxpayers”. That is just swell.

So a three month congressional monkey wrench and some confusion in the CO fourth district when voters have to decide two elections at once.
