When I was in my 20s or 30s and would vacation in Arizona, I remember going to Nogales Mexico and I would see Guantamalan mothers in the streets. It was explained to me that they were there looking for their children. The man who took us to Nogalas from Tuscan explained this to me. I remember feeling great sorrow for them and I wasn't even a mom myself at the time but I couldn't imagine the pain in their hearts. That was a long time ago now. Very sad 😔.
