At a Cartier event in Geneva, Switzerland for the unveiling of the new watch under the "Tank" name. The first Cartier Tank watch premiered in 1917 and was inspired by ... a military tank from WWI. (True!) Many different Tank models have been made since then, and Jacqueline Kennedy and Princess Diana even wore one. In 1996, Tank Française debuted.
