-Conservatives or Republicans thought they had a leg up when George Bush won in 2001.
-Black people thought they had gotten over the racial inequality hump with Barrack Obama in 2008.
-White & Black Liberal (for the most part) women would have thought they turned a new chapter with Hillary Clinton in 2016.
