It will take the nurses standing up together and saying no. As a retired nurse of 50 years, I can say that there were times during my career when ridiculous demands came from administrators. It takes staff standing together, saying no because they took an oath to do no harm, and to withhold basic care such as hygiene, nutrition, and safety can result in revocation of nursing licenses. In addition it is morally corrupt. These nurses need to take this up with the board of nursing in their state immediately.
