I thought it was common knowledge that Germany/Roth started the emigration of Jews to Palestine in the 30s?? Was this removed from the history books???

Might have been in the books, but the story was told it happened because of the Jews escaping Germany WW2
No one ever mentioned the Balfour agreement from the WW1 time or any documents predating that.
