Hey, Democrats.

What if the government searches your financial history for Mao's Red Book or a certain Manifesto? Would that violate your rights? Yes, it would - freedom of speech means any medium oral, in print, in artworks, or the internet.

There are exceptions, such as 18 U.S. Code § 2385 - Advocating the overthrow of Government material.

The Declaration of Independence makes it clear overthrowing the government may only be exercised in extreme circumstances when a government has become “destructive” and has engaged in a “long train of abuses and usurpations.” Yet the bible doesn't do that regarding present governments.
