Make Your Own Aluminum-Free Deodorant
Now that you know that conventional anti-perspirants contain aluminum and many other harmful ingredients, why not make your own “anti-perspirants” that is safe and chemical-free?
Here’s what you will need:
¼ cup of coconut oil
¼ cup of baking soda
15-20 drops of your favorite essential oil
Mix all ingredients together and store in a cool, dry place (or in the fridge). To apply just use a small amount and massage into your underarms.
Try adding organic ingredients such as coconut oil, beewax, avocado butter, raw honey, lavender and eucalyptus. Play around with what works for you and the scent you love to use.
Here is a how-to video I also like that uses very similar ingredients.
