It’s important to point out that years ago, before the United States Postal Service existed, Post Offices were banks.
In fact if you look up Post Office in one of Blacks Law dictionary it will say “Bank”.
This could be a good thing. Maybe the new Republic will do away with the Postal Sevice and return to Post Offices?
