Carrier Syndrome is where a female is missing the second X chromosome to make the XX sex chromosome because it was deleted through a mutation. Kleinfelter Syndrome, also known as XXY syndrome occurs when the male sex chromosome, XY, receives an extra X chromosome to make XXY.
