I can personally testify to it's effectiveness. I used a potato poultice twice recently with amazing results. Most impressive was our dog with an abscess on her leg. Red, hot swollen with black spot. The poultice made immediate improvements. I will spread this far and wide. I was formally an ER nurse and no longer believe in the pharmaceutical based model of medicine.
